Business Development Manager
Location: Midlands / North West / South East

Rotala provides a range of transport solutions for businesses, local authorities, the public and private individuals.
Rotala was formed in 2005 and has grown through the acquisition and amalgamation of local coach and bus operations and is one of the largest operators in its chosen geographical locations. Rotala now operates more than 500 vehicles and employs more than 1,500 members of staff. Our registered bus services carry more than 50,000,000 passengers every year. We in addition operate an extensive number of corporate transport contracts and private bus networks.
The newly created role of Business Development Manager is a high-profile addition to the team reporting directly into the Chief Executive.
You will assist in delivering and supporting the strategic growth of the Group by identifying and developing new business opportunities. You should be able to confidently explore and deliver new markets within current sector and broaden what the Group currently provides in new sectors of business.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes and experience:
- Have proven experience in business development;
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts;
- Develop and build new contacts outside of the industry to support the broadening of new sectors of business;
- Understand customer needs;
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
