Rotala Announced Route One Award Winner
We are extremely proud to share that Rotala has been announced Winner of the Innovation in Bus Category at the 2026 Route One Awards!
This recognition highlights a group-wide collaboration of our teams to develop and implement our own suite of Inhouse Data Management Systems. Designed to standardise processes, improve data transparency and support both frontline and strategic functions across the group, these systems support our teams on a daily basis. Operations staff, engineers, depot managers and central teams all worked together collectively to design, develop and adopt the systems within our depots right across the country.
The innovations we developed have delivered substantial benefits including improved data visibility, faster incident management and stronger evidence‑based decision‑making. Our staff benefit from clearer processes, information and engagement, enabling us to deliver safer, more reliable and increasingly sustainable bus services.
We're incredibly proud of everyone involved in making this project a success and delighted to see the hard work and vision behind it recognised on a national stage.
