Acquisition of Heathrow Depot Site

Acquisition of Heathrow Depot Site

During July 2026, following several years of operation at the site, Rotala concluded the acquisition of the Stanwell, Heathrow depot from Exxon Mobil.

This is a great milestone in the development of our Hallmark Connections business, which is based at the former Esso site. Following on from taking ownership of the site, Rotala will be engaging with architects to determine appropriate changes to the site layout and the potential installation of a new vehicle wash to improve operations. We have also given an undertaking to install two interceptors within the next 6 months.

This latest investment in the Heathrow depot follows on from a number of improvements made during 2025 to the depot engineering area, and strengthens our commitment to grow the Heathrow business.

As part of our ongoing investment in business performance, important renovation works were carried out at the Heathrow Depot Engineering Department during 2025. A brand-new LPG Workshop Heating System was installed, replacing  outdated and inefficient diesel blower heaters. The new system is quieter, more efficient, and environmentally friendly, using LPG gas to significantly reduce emissions while also lowering running costs.

This upgrade along with newly decorated and furnished Engineering Offices has provided a more comfortable and efficient working environment for our engineers and contributed to Rotala's wider sustainability goals.
