Multiple Rotala companies short-listed for National Transport Industry Awards
We are extremely pleased to announce that Preston Bus, Diamond North West, Diamond East Midlands, Diamond Bus and Rotala have all been short-listed as finalists in several 2026 national transport industry awards
Preston Bus, has been short-listed in the NTA category of Design, Engineering & Construction Project of the Year, for the extensive Preston depot renovations and redevelopment. They are also Shortlisted as Top Shire Operator in the UK Bus Awards.
Preston's Jack Asquith, has been shortlisted for both UK Bus Awards and Route One Engineer of the Year Categories.
Diamond North West has been short-listed for NTA Operator of the Year, along with Top Contracted Operator and Top National Bus Depot in the UK Bus Awards
Diamond East Midlands has been shortlisted for Route One Sustainability Award following the investment in the electrification of Burton depot and introduction of electric vehicles.
Diamond Bus has been shortlisted in the category of Top City Operator in the UK Bus Awards.
and, Rotala Group has been shortlisted in the Route One Category of Innovation in Bus for the extensive work we have achieved in developing our own Data Management Systems internally, such as the Incident Management and Electric Bus Management Systems.
It is the first time for Preston & DBNW to be short-listed in the NTA Awards, and for Diamond Bus to be short-listed for UK Bus Awards. It is also the first time for DBEM to be a shortlisted finalist since becoming part of the Rotala Group.
As Rotala moves forward in its 21st Year, this is an amazing honor for the whole of the group to be recognised so widely in 2026 and represents a great achievement for everyone that worked together to make this happen.
